One year ago, doctors' anger was great as the honorary grand coalition of reform was still in force. Many specialists in Hamburg - especially orthopaedists - complained about wage losses, barricaded their practices, and demanded advance payment from their patients; this lead to a mass demonstration in Stuttgart. Now, a year later, the figures point to actual changes. Physicians are making more money - not less!
