This weekend the German research vessel “Grönland” will land at the Hamburg Harbour. On August 9 and 10 between 10am and 6pm, members of the campaign group “Klima sucht Schutz” will host a panel discussion, alongside the “International Climate Champion” of the British Council, Ms. Larissa Baumann.

Hamburg was chosen to host the 20th European Summer School in Logic, Language and Information (ESSLI) from August 4 to August 15 at the University of Hamburg this year. The almost 50 courses are expected to attract about 500 participants from 47 countries.

Euro Business College Awarded State Recognition
The Euro Business College (University of Applied Sciences) Hamburg has been officially awarded state recognition. In a senate press release, Science State Councilor Bernd Reinert welcomed the Euro Business College as another college of higher eduction in Hamburg to offer international focus on business studies. It is the 17th private university to gain state recognition.

Top U.S. universities partner with local law school
The Hamburg based Bucerius Law School has just announced a new partnership with two of the world's most renkowned international law schools - Stanford and Berkely. Those two universities bring the number of Bucerius partner universities up to 87 law schools in 28 countries. The international network provided by these partnerships will primarily aid student and academic exchange.
