This week's new film at Streit's cinema is Seven Pounds, starring Hollywood superstar Will Smith (I am Legend; Men in Black).
He plays Tim Thomas, an IRS agent with the power and will to change the lives of seven strangers, because of a secret he holds.

The Sneak Preview at UCI Mundsburg this week had a lot in common with a festive menu - hard to digest.
Pride & Glory is a tale about cops, family and corruption, but ultimately it's a movie that wants to be something great and in trying so fails to connect with the audience.

The crazy zoo animals Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo are back to entertain adults and kids alike in this excellent humorous animation with a humane touch.

This week's OV Sneak Preview at UCI Mundsburg was an experience for all senses. A movie that will leave you with just one question in your mind: What was it all about?
The movie in question is the latest offering from Guy Ritchie "Rock n Rolla". It is a breathtaking, adrenalin fueled journey through the London underworld.

In last week's review I complained that American movies always have
happy endings. REC, a horror flick, is an exception, maybe because it
was directed by two Spaniards. The title comes from the blinking text
showing that a camera is recording. The plot involves a local news
station camera crew as they follow the adventures of a firehouse full
of rowdy Los Angeles firefighters as they respond to an emergency call
at 1.47 A.M. This fright flick starts without credits and mood music.
The only foreshadowing of the horrors to come is that one of the
firefighters explains to the anchor woman that 85% of the calls are not
about fires but health emergencies.
