Residents of Altona and Eimsbüttel had reason to celebrate yesterday. The Federal government gave green light for the construction of a top cover over the autobahn A-7. Residents had been lobbying for a better noise protection from the motorway for fourteen years. The city of Hamburg even wants to expand the construction plans, giving the districts even more efficient noise protection.
