Hapag-Lloyd stays in Hamburg

The group of Hamburg investors has bought the shipping company Hapag-Lloyd for 4.5 billion euros.  The group, led by Klaus Michael Kuehne, formed to prevent TUI form selling the traditional Hamburg company abroad. The other bidder was the Neptune Orient Line from Singapore.
