Pineapple Express is a marijuana comedy, people get zapped, but it is still funny. The name itself refers to a potent variety of the pernicious weed that keeps an overweight, sloppy, motor mouth process server high and in a relationship with an high-school student. The process server inadvertently witnesses a drug killing and at first panics as he is transported into a brutal nether world. He and his hippie dealer go off in a 1982 Cadillac to escape the killers who can track them because process server and dealer are the only ones who smoke „pineapple express“ joints.
