The Accidental Husband is a romantic comedy with an ingenious, insightful plot. Uma Thurman, who plays an advice to the lovelorn hostess on radio called Dr. Emma Lloyd, advises a troubled woman caller to break off her impending marriage to a New York City fireman, Patrick Sullivan while Patrick and his colleagues happen to be listening live in their fire truck.
