The Lufthansa
Group of companies is posting good financial results despite the global banking crisis. The airline increased its offer
and sales during the first nine months of the year with an operating profit of
984 million euros after the third quarter. Lufthansa operates a huge technical repair and maintenance center for its aircraft which is located at Hamburg's international airport, "Lufthansa Basis".
