Hamburg SPD debacle reaches national SPD

The failed candidacy of Hamburg member of the Bundestag Niels Annen is provoked a national debate within the SPD. Vice party head Andrea Nahles has accused the Hamburg head of the conservative faction, Seeheimer Kreis Johannes Kahrs, to have schemed against Annen. Annen had lost an election as candidate for member of the Bundestag against head of the SPD youth movement Jusos Danial Ilkhanipour.
