Steve Peiris has recently been voted the new president of the Toastmasters Club in Hamburg. The Toastmasters is an international organization, established in 1924, that promotes public speaking. The club in Hamburg consists of over 40 people from different countries, who attend weekly meetings to practice their oral communication.

Though I have heard that being the president is by far, no cup of tea! I wish him all the best! Reply

The phrase: "no cup of tea" refers to something not being of much interest or not being very well suited. Shows how much my english has deteriorated. So, to say it in plain english: Being president is not all plain sailing (hope that this metaphor sounds better)! Reply
