Djokovic has won the Australian Open! He beat Federer in the semifinals, and then Jo Winfried Tsonga, up-and-coming Frenchman in the finals. The men's rankings is extremely close at the top. Federer's top spot is being challenged like never before it seems. It is not only Nadal who is short on his heels, but now Djokovic is also breathing up his neck.

On the women's side, Sharapova is back. She beat Ivanovic in the final.
