The manufacturer will start building aeroplanes there in August 2008, and the first locally-assembled Airbuses will be delivered to Chinese airlines in the first half of 2009.

The Chinese are copying Western technology and then producing at a lower price. They will copy the magnetic leviation train (TransRapid) and start selling it worldwide.
They will also build "Aribusses" one day. Airbus is making a big mistake teaching the Chinese how to build planes.

Chinese have their own magnetic leviation technologies. If we didn't help them, Japanese would have pinched the deal. If we didn't sell the technology, how are we supposed to make money.
