While the result presented by the Federal Ministry for Commerce and Technology on August 21 reports a slight downward trend for the macroeconomic situation in Germany (-0.5%) for the 2nd quarter in 2008, Hamburg’s economy could record a growth of 0.2% compared to the 1st quarter 2008.
