Chaos at Hamburg Airport
Sally ports have been closed, passengers of 12 planes ready to take off had to get off. Shops, waiting rooms and restrooms were checked. About 2,000 passengers had to run through the security check two times. Chaos at Hamburg Airport on Sunday morning between 10 and 12. The reason? Due to a technical error 173 passengers coming from Hurghada (Egypt) were not controlled according the EU-prescriptions by the German Federal Police. Since a passenger from this flight could have left a bomb in the pier or given explosives to a passenger of another flight all these actions had to be taken, said Torsten Jordan, speaker of the Federal Police.
